BELLA MOSES '23
Poetry Head Editor
Bella Moses is a senior at Hamilton College and is double majoring in creative writing and women’s and gender studies. Her recent work can be found in Cosmonauts Avenue, Spires, The Oakland Arts Review, Right Hand Pointing, and elsewhere. She is a graduate of the Juniper Institute, the New York State Summer Writers Institute, and the Iowa Young Writers Studio. Life loves include sunlit windows, Virginia Woolf, and walking uphill.
MADISON LAZENBY '23
Madison Lazenby is a senior at Hamilton College, where she studies Creative Writing and Women’s & Gender Studies. She has worked many on-campus jobs, including positions as a First Year Course Mentor and Research Assistant in the WGS, Literature, and Government departments. She received an Emerson Foundation Grant for the summer of 2022 to complete a poetry chapbook on memory, trauma, and identity that was advised by Professor Jane Springer. She is a graduate of the UVA Young Writers Workshop, a Pushcart Prize nominee, and has been recognized by the Academy of American Poets and the John V. A. Weaver Prize in Poetry. Her work has been published by L’Éphémère Review, Sooth Swarm Journal, and elsewhere. She can be found on Instagram and Twitter under @mad_mads_maddie.
ABIGAIL MOONE '23
Abigail Moone is an artist and student from Idaho studying Women’s and Gender Studies and French at Hamilton College. She has written poetry all her life, and believes that art is fundamental to the human experience. She is particularly interested in narratives around queerness and identity, and believes in the celebration of joy and gratitude. Besides Red Weather, Abigail is involved with a number of other campus organizations, and loves rock climbing, experimental cooking, and sitting in the grass.
GABI DE MENDONCA GOMES '24
Gabi is a junior from São Paulo, Brazil who’s currently living in Hoboken, New Jersey. She’s majoring in Literature and Philosophy, and unsurprisingly, you can always find her with a book in-hand that she wants to talk to you about. On campus besides classes, she is on the poetry board for Red Weather Literary Magazine, works at the Oral Communications Center, does Mock Trial, and is the Opinion Section Editor for the Continental Magazine; off campus, she loves snowboarding, hiking, and writing.
HOLLIS MANN '24
Hollis is a sophomore poetry board member from Connecticut. She plans to double major in Literature and Cinema here at Hamilton but is currently undecided! In addition to the poetry board, Hollis is a Sadove student programmer as well as a member of the Center for Intersectional Feminism (CIF.) She is a longtime lover of prose poetry, overly sweet coffee, and bad period dramas.
JULIA SMITH ‘25
Julia Smith is a sophomore at Hamilton College studying Sociology, Spanish, and Literature. She's from Houston, Texas, and has been an avid reader and writer since elementary school. In addition to being a member of Red Weather's poetry board, she's a co-captain of the Club Figure Skating team and a Sociology TA. She loves the blueberry commons coffee, Christmastime, and her family. Her favorite poet is Mary Oliver.

Dana is a freshman from Massachusetts who intends to study Anthropology and Creative Writing. Her work appears online in The Adroit Journal, Lunch Ticket, Up the Staircase Quarterly, and has been recognized by The Adroit Prizes, YoungArts, and more. She loves bedroom pop, unnecessarily long walks, and honey almond butter.
Senna Camp ‘26
Senna is a first-year who lives near Boston, MA. She plans to major in Environmental Studies and hopes to do a semester abroad in France! On campus, she is also involved with Slow Food and rides with the equestrian team. Her favorite books are The Parable of the Sower and the The Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler and Tender is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica, which are all utterly gut-wrenching books and immaculate reads. Her preferred medium is poetry.

Gabrielle Brihn is a freshman from Cleveland, Ohio. She has always enjoyed writing and reading, but she discovered poetry her sophomore year of high school and has been in love with it ever since. She enjoys learning how to play the guitar, running, and mac and cheese.

Hannah is a junior studying Creative Writing and Linguistics. She enjoys stories that focus on promoting diversity and open discussions of mental health issues. In addition to writing and editing, she enjoys dancing, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.
MAJA DOMAGALA '24
Maja Domagała is a junior studying Creative Writing and Women’s and Gender Studies at Hamilton College. They were born in Nysa, Poland and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Most of their writing focuses on queerness, immigration, and mental health. Previously, they have been published in Arcturus. When they are not reading or writing, they enjoy going on strolls in the glens, trying different coffees and teas, and wondering how the next Locked Tomb book will make them cry.

Jessica Frantzen is a junior from Pennsylvania hoping to major in Psychology and Japanese. A member of the debate club eboard and editorially-minded, Jessica is fond of stories with a fantastical twist and those that place emphasis on mental health and LGBT+ themes. In her free time, when not dreaming up new characters, Jessica enjoys playing tabletop and video games and desperately trying to save her new succulent.

Caitlin Moehrle is a junior from New York double majoring in Creative Writing and Music. She was awarded the Kellogg Essay Prize her freshman year at Hamilton and is a violinist for the Hamilton College Orchestra. Her writing playlists consist of an eclectic loop of 20th c. French impressionism, Japanese city pop, and Medieval/Renaissance troubadour songs.

Kimmie Johnson is a junior at Hamilton College, where she's studying Archaeology and Creative Writing. She's fond of historical fiction, especially historical fiction surrounding previously-untold aspects of women's history. When she's not writing or listening to 80s power ballads, she's usually thinking about what to write next.

Alison Isko is a sophomore who enjoys creative writing and history. Aside from Red Weather, she is a current Production Editor for The Spectator and a former Executive Editor for Polyphony Lit. As Alison was raised in Manhattan, she has developed far too many opinions on far too many things, primarily about other people’s writing. Her work has been recognized on multiple occasions by organizations like the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and she is in the process of writing a novel.

Willa Karr is a sophomore from Hoboken, NJ. She plans to major in Anthropology, with a double minor in Environmental Studies and Creative Writing. She has always loved writing, and spends most of her free time journaling or reading fiction for inspiration. At Hamilton, she plays rugby, works on campus sustainability, is a co-chair of the Planned Parenthood board, and a DJ for the WHCL radio show. During her free time, she likes to go on hikes and spend time outdoors with her friends.

Erin is a freshman from Sudbury, MA who is intending to major in economics with a minor in creative writing. At Hamilton she is on Dance Team, writes for The Spectator, and volunteers with Hamilton Reads. In her free time she enjoys golfing, reading, and going on long walks with her dog.

Eliza Roberts is a junior at Hamilton College where she would love to major in Creative Writing or History. She finds inspiration in both visual arts and writing, and hopes to continue both throughout her life. In high school, she received a National Scholastic Award for art, and contributed both writing and art for the Literary Arts Magazine. She finds inspiration in both visual arts and writing, and hopes to continue both throughout her life. Aside from those, she loves cuddling with her corgi, Puck, baking and ice skating!

Maia is a sophomore who grew up in Colorado, moved to São Paulo, Brazil in middle school and spent most of high school in Tokyo, Japan. She loves creating all kinds of mixed media art working with collage, paint, and photography. Her artwork and poetry has been published in her high school's literary and arts magazine. Her work focuses on capturing a current moment or feeling. When she's not creating, she loves running and exploring the outdoors.

Lauryn Socha is a sophomore from Buffalo, NY. She plans to major in Art or Sociology. She loves taking photographs, digital and film, and playing around with photoshop. She had a couple of her photographs shown at the Albright Knox Museum’s AK teens exhibit. You can usually find her sewing, skiing, listening to music, or cooking!

Cate Iven is a sophomore from Syracuse, New York. She finds inspiration in both fine arts and writing, but mainly practices sculpture and painting. She loves bright colors, which you can often see integrated into her art. Outside of the studio, she enjoys hiking, reading, playing volleyball, and crying over her chem homework.
Alya MacDonald ‘25
Alya is a sophomore from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she has lived ever since moving from Chicago at the age of six. She is studying Studio Art and Biology at Hamilton College and loves all things that lie at the intersection of art and science. She enjoys all things photography, from photographs that capture the intimacy of human nature to those that explore the intricacies of the microscopic world. She loves practicing aerial arts, playing guitar, and going on adventures.
TULASI VITHIANANTHAN ‘26
Tulasi is a freshman from Sharon, Massachusetts. Most days, you’ll find her listening to Dominic Fike while adding paper notes and drawings to her growing collage wall. Her favorite things include nature, pinterest boards, indie rom-coms, and T.S. Eliot’s The Wasteland. Her preferred medium of art is drawing, however she never misses an opportunity to paint with gouache. At Nobles, Tulasi served as the editor-in-chief of their Arts and Literary Organization for two years while being awarded the Bramhall-Bridge Purchase Prize, where the school bought her artwork for public display.
